Some guy claimed to have discovered every unlockable character that would be in Brawl, and Lucario was one of them.

Well the damn game should have been out. It's been delayed 3 times. So the finished version and copies could have circulated, they just had to pull some back and edit whatever the hell. It's kind of difficult to imagine but I could see Lucario as a playable character.

EDIT: Actually anything is possible with Snake being there. >_>

that can't be cause if you look at the characters, none of those are in there, unless they're not showing the ones you can unlock

They aren't showing any they haven't announced yet. Lucario and Jigglypuff are almost certainly unlockables.

I'm hopeful, but will remain pessimistic about that. Rumors have a way of biting people in the tail, so I say that being fairly optimistic is the best way to approach this.

I'm pretty positive that Lucario is a very high possibility as a secret character since the official SSBB site only announced characters you can play as the start and Pokeball pokemon. Plus, Lucario's one of the few pokemon that makes sense in Brawl.

Well they came out of no where with a few daily updates and took forever to announce shiek so I could expect Lucario in there.

But Lucario isn't a transformation like Shiek, so they have to do a completely different sprite set and make a new moveset/model for Lucario.

They could use his Colosseum model, like they're using Link's Twilight Princess model, and some of Lucario's moves/poses from Colosseum have got to be useful for Brawl as well.

This information was revealed by a Kyogre sticker that can be equipped by only Pokemon franchise characters, it showed no Mewtwo. Honestly, I was hoping for Mewtwo, more so because if he were put in that would suggest it would be hype for the anime picking up his story again, than him being an awesome character. This suggests that his plot thread will remain free for awhile yet.

But hey, Lucario has angst too, he has good reasons to hate humans considering... uh... is there a spoiler tag in this forum? If no I need to memorize the hex code for the shade of pink in the bg, assuming Eevee allows colored text to begin with. Hrm.

Related to Smash but not Pokémon, a Mother (Earthbound) franchise sticker can be equipped by Lucas and a boy with a red cap; Ness may be making a return.

Well we can't think for sure Lucario is there because there is no saying of that by any SSBB officials on websites. This could have been made up. What everyone is saying here could be true but you're all focusing on how SSBB could do this instead of if they did this

Lucario and Jiglypuff are playable characters. And a new stage is the Spear Pillar where you sometimes see Dialga or Palkia

The following is some information that I've seen floating around on the GameFAQs message board for Brawl, so take this with a grain of salt.

Lucario's damage output and the knockback from his attacks apparently increases as he takes more damage.
At 0% - He gets a 1.0 Multiplier.
At 50% - He gets a 1.10 Multiplier.
At 100% - He gets a 1.25 Multiplier.
At 150% - He gets a 1.35 Multiplier.
At 200% - He gets a 1.5 Multiplier.

The Aura Sphere's size also increases with damage, up to about his body size, and can do quite a lot of damage at higher damages. Unfortunately, Lucario seems to be somewhat light (Mewtwo's weight from SSBM), and doesn't do all that much damage at low damage percentages.
